Our anniversary is coming up and I’m so undecided about what to do. A part of me wants to go on a day trip and the other wants me to just stay closer to home and enjoy a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant. It would be cheaper to just go out for dinner but for the past two years my husband and I haven’t done anything special.
It’s funny because David was the one to suggest we go on a mini trip to San Francisco. He wanted us to go and spend the night out there. But the thought of me leaving my kids overnight just kills me. O has never spent the night alone at anyone’s house ever before and the last time S spent the night elsewhere was because I was at the hospital giving birth to Owen.
Well, I guess whatever we do we should try to make the most out of it. Sometimes I still can’t believe that I’m married. I wouldn’t trade it for anything though. I love my husband. He gets me like no one else and I love being a goofball with him. He is my best friend!!
At 8 AM today someone poisons the coffee. Do NOT drink the Coffee. More instructions to follow.
One of my favorite Jim pranks! LOL.
Does anyone else feel like that? It’s especially weird when they’re younger than you. I mean it isn’t really that weird or awkward. Just kind of funny to know they are about the same age as you but so “successful.” I guess I should just use it as motivation to better myself and try to find my own talents/goals.
I’m so sick and tired of this cold weather. Or maybe I’m just tired and need to take a nap.
I’m ready for it to be warm again. I’m ready for vacation days. I’m ready to get out of the house and go exploring.

Omg! Gossip girl is over?!?!?! Time to catch up on the lastest episodes.
Bagels with cream cheese
Sausage and egg mcmuffins
Oh the joys of womanhood. LOL.
Now I really can’t get to sleep. Gosh, this past week everyone has had the stomach flu. I think David and Owen had the worst of it! Those poor guys. Thankfully Owen is feeling a lot better. David is still trying to recover. I don’t even know where we caught it from. Kind of gross to think that we can pick up germs from anywhere!! Yuck. I’m just glad that we are all finally on the path to recovery!
On another note, I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here. It’s kind of crazy. Where did the time go? This year has gone by so quick for me. I feel like we just started the year and now it’s already over. I haven’t even decorated our house for the holidays. I put up our mini Christmas tree but the kids have been messing around with the ornaments that it just looks so sad and pathetic. I don’t even have the motivation to fix it or set up the rest of the holiday stuff. I was going to do it right after Thanksgiving weekend but then we went out of town for an entire week. Then when we came back I had to clean the house, do laundry, and put away our stuff. And, then this past week we all got sick. So much going on!! I guess it’s okay though because now I won’t have to put anything away, except for the tiny tree.
A step-by-step guide to capturing those priceless fob moments!
It has been 7 wonderful years with this goofball! I love him with every fiber of my being (even when he irritates me).
Faux leather hoodie, $19.99
Betsy Johnson turban beanie, $9.99
Studded loafers, $15.99
Love my new finds! They were all purchased at Ross. My favorite has to be the loafers. They are super trendy and really “in” this fall. They’re selling them everywhere! And, I’ve been needing new flats. These will go well with just about anything! Dress them up or dress them down!! Funny story about the turban was that I also tried on another one made by Michael Kors. It was kind of cute but it really looked like a real turban. I don’t really think of myself as a hat person but I just couldn’t pass this one up. I’ve been wanting to try the turban trend for a long time and this one is not too over-the-top. So I just had to buy it. The jacket has to be the best deal I think. You can probably find similar ones going for $30+. I like that it has the hoodie and fleece sleeves. It keeps it from looking so tough and dressed up.
I hate that, don’t you. I need to reorganize my clothes. It’s time to play dress up today.
Love this photo of the kids. Love that it’s in black and white, too.
I can’t believe that the holidays are pretty much here already. This year went by so fast.
I was wanting to take family portraits to send out for Christmas but maybe I should just use this instead. Maybe. We’ll see what happens.
That doesn’t make any sense at all.
